How to Install ipx software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

ipx software package provides utilities to configure the kernel ipx interface, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install ipx

ipx is installed in your system.

Make ensure the ipx package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ipx *

You will get with ipx package name, version, architecture and description in a table
